Religious Education and Collective Worship

As we are a Voluntary Aided Church in Wales School it is to be expected that Religious Education will have a vital and definite place in the Curriculum.  Our aim is to explore the place and significance of religion in human life in the hope that this may make a distinctive contribution to the eventual search by every pupil for the faith by which we live.

In Archdeacon John Lewis Primary, Religious Education, which includes worship, is in accordance with the teaching and practice of the Church in Wales and is expressed through the appropriate Diocesan Church in Wales Syllabus and the Book of Common Prayer.

In this way we meet the expectations of those parents who choose a Church in Wales School for their children by providing the best possible general education within the context of a religious interpretation of life and ethos, supported by committed and practising Christian Teachers.

Every Sunday our worship hall is used by the Church of St Mary's Brackla for a family-friendly Anglican service of worship to which all pupils, parents, friends and local residents are welcome.
St Mary's Brackla is one of four churches in the parish of Coity, Coychurch,  Nolton and Brackla. Find our more about our Parish by clicking on the link below.
